Linda's Story
Married a year out of high school, never regretted it. Loved and raised (with my husband, James Dobson & God) 4 amazing kids who grew up to be 4 amazing adults giving us 8 (going on 9) wonderful grandchildren.
We had good times and bad, as do we all. We moved to Oregon in 1973 to raise the kids in the country. 2 out of 4 went to college in Southern California and settled there. . . .one of the ironies of life. We had an insurance agency for 30 years & I've been a tax consultant for 20. Guess I collected business licenses instead of degrees, but loved it all.
Dick died from leukemia in 2004. I'm still at our property in Southern Oregon. I still do taxes, I've sold designer clothes, I teach Bible classes, sing in the choir and make Latte's at Starbucks. mily often. Life is good with many adventures and interesting opportunities ahead.
The "NOW," picture was taken in July, when my latest little grandchild was born, Marisa May McReynolds. What a wonderful blessing!
I love hearing from all of you, so be sure to add your story, your now & then pictures and maybe a note.
And the story continues. In September 2010 I moved to Southern California. My youngest 2 children live here, with now four of my 10 grandchildren. I married another wonderful man......an unexpected blessing. Together we have 18 grandcihildren, ranging from 1 to 21. Needless to say, we are busy just trying to be part of their lives. Eight live here in Southern California, the rest are scattered around the country....except my oldest grandson, Reed, who is living an adventure in Australia. Love traveling from place to place. Haven't made it to Australia yet, but maybe. We enjoy family, friends, laughing and adventures. Would love you hear all about you!
